For all clients paying out of pocket, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of therapy costs per the federal No Surprises Act.
I ask that all clients please give at least 24 hours notice if needing to cancel an appointment or else I will have to charge a cancellation fee of $150 for the late notice or no show. Each week, I have a number of clients looking to meet with me at a different time than their usual meeting time due to conflicts that may have come up for them. With less than 24 hours notice, I unfortunately do not have enough time to offer the appointment time to these clients.
I am currently an in-network provider for most Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna PPO, and Lyra health insurance plans. For all other insurances, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. Many times, insurance will still provide coverage for out-of-network providers, but you should verify this with your specific insurance company. In these cases, you would pay me upfront and we submit a receipt to your insurance in order for you to be reimbursed for some of the cost.
I do have a small number of reduced fee spaces for clients who make a lower income. Some of my clients also meet with me less frequently to make this fit in their budgets. If this is a concern for you, please feel free to approach me.
While I can usually verify some of your insurance information, the amount of information available to me on insurance company websites can vary greatly. The best way to verify your insurance benefits and ensure you would be in-network with me is by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card.

1) What is your outpatient mental health coverage for CPT code 90837?
2) Is Rob in-network for your plan?
3) What is your cost or copay per session?
4) Are there any limits on the number of sessions you can have?
5) Is any precertification required before you can begin sessions?
6) Does any deductible apply for these sessions?
